I was directed here, as through my performance work I have had to overcome my fears of being in front of a camera. A photographer friend thought I would do well to start to work on some self-portraiture to enable me to understand a little more about both sides of the camera. He sent me here and I am astounded by the level and artisticness (is there such a word?) of your work. Also, your more recent blog on beauty and ugliness also really touched me. Its only in recent years I have learnt that the fact I am nothing special to look at day to day doesnt not mean I could not be a part of a beautiful photograph. There is so much more to the work than that If you ever have an urge to photograph a Kent based burlesque singer with a love of burlesque, fetish, corsets and anything quirky please please get in touch.
